Kind of like Snape, but not as fun. [Ha ha.]

[Charlie laughs some, shaking her head a bit.]

Snape's alright. He takes teaching very seriously.

I kind of like it. Sort of. It can be a bit much on occasion.

I wonder if he's even teaching today.

Oh, we're not going to school for a couple days at least. I asked Frances to call us out or whatever. I figured we could use the break.

Considering how much school I skipped out on back home the past year, I'm surprised I'm even graduating.

That's still awesome.

[Charlie stretches out on her stomach again, recapping her soda and setting it aside.]

...how bad do you think our stack of homework will be when we get back to school?

For two days? Probably not that bad.

[He takes another sip of his soda, thinking about it.]

Well, maybe from the physics guy.

God. Don't mention that. He did this scary huge ramble a few days ago and when I asked him if he took a single breath, he said it'd be on the test. I had no idea what was going on.

[This is pretty much the only thing she'll laugh at about that whole memory loss shitstorm. Her shoulders shake some, her face buries itself in her arms and she sighs.]

I take it back. I want nothing to do with actual schooling. Ever.

Maybe we can get a whole three student lacrosse team going.

You still have to teach me how to play. In return, I'll teach you how to make hand-made pasta.

Hand made pasta?

Yup. Hand-made.

[She has some pretty epic kitchen skills.]

I learned how to in New Hampshire.

That might be fun. I used to make food for my dad. Healthy stuff.

We can do healthy. The pasta only has four ingredients. You can put whatever you want on it once it's cooked.

What have you put on it?

[Charlie shifts, resting her head on his shoulder. She's sort of tired, but it's not time to fall asleep. So it's more to just be close to Stiles.]

I've done diced tomatoes, minced garlic, some oregano, salt and pepper and grated Parmesan. It's really up to your imagination.

[He takes her hand. Less for counting, more for holding onto.]

Well. I've got a pretty good one.

[She's happy with that. Her fingers lace through his and she looks up at him to smile.]

[She keeps her voice soft. It's just them and that works for her.]
