[ Charlie sighs. A door opens and the sounds shift from outside where it's quiet to the sounds of the clinic. She really should have hung up before opening that god damn door. ]
[ It's only a couple hours later when Charlie walks in. Her elbow and wrist are wrapped but other than that? She looks fine. She tries to duck into her room but Noira has an empty food bowl and there's half a can of cat food in the fridge. So she's in the kitchen carefully measuring out wet and dry food and sort of frowning about having to mix anything right now. ]
[He watches her come in and do these wanderings from the couch, wondering if she saw him and if so if she ignored him. He wouldn't be surprised. After a while, he'll make his way into the kitchen on slightly unsteady legs. Watching her from the doorway.]
[ She didn't see him. She's just stopped actively looking, if that makes any sense. He's become another face in the house, for the most part. She trusts him to a degree, but he also makes her nervous.
And right now she's a bit distracted by what had happened. When she does notice him, the expression on her face is concern. ]
You really should be lying down. For Stiles' sake and for your own. That must have been one hell of a bite.

[ to someone in the background: ] I fell and landed wrong. It hurts from the elbow to the fingertips.
[ At least she's good at lying to people who aren't Thomas. ]

Just head home, Thomas. You can prevent her from getting hurt, too, okay? Try it. You might like the results.
