Rocky smiled back at her, leaning in to follow her back down to the pillow with a kiss on the forehead. "It's late...not super late, but late enough. They cancelled my stupid flight twice...and I am gonna get no work done, you're too damn adorable."
With a sigh, Rocky toed off his sneakers and dove gracefully over Charlie to plop onto the mattress behind her with a soft grunt, wrapping an arm around her waist to pull her back against his chest with one arm as the other found his phone. He took a moment to fiddle with it, starting a video recording before he held it up so just his face was visible.
"Hello, everyone!" he greeted quietly. "I'm Bane, you're wonderful, and I am currently in Seattle! Three guesses as to why, and the first two don't count."
He shifted the phone so Charlie was visible, tucked back against his chest.
"I'm recording this because I don't have a morning video for tomorrow, and it's...eleven o'clock Pacific right about now. Everyone be quiet, 'cause Charlie's still sleeping." He paused to kiss the crown of her head. "Aren't you, Charlie?"
