[Part 1: Thomas - Tree House:]

Charlie's not sure when she fell asleep in Thomas' room. What she is sure of is that's not what's waking her up in confusion. She's fine in Thomas' room. It's peaceful and falling asleep happy is a rarity, not to mention she felt safer in there. They'd fallen asleep after a long day exploring Teleios and finding fun things to do after they poked around for a while. Not quite ready to let the fun day end, they'd stayed up late laughing about sillier moments of the day, talking about anything that could possibly help them find an exit.

It had been great.

What's waking her up, however? It's cold, scaly and growling some, trying to work it's way between her arms and her chest. Something, she's not sure what, is nosing under her chin and snorting. Charlie's eyes snap open when whatever it is finally settles and starts snoring, legs (She's guessing legs) tucked under it's scaly, round body.

Sitting up carefully, Charlie takes one look at the creature and shrieks.

It's a dragon. It's a god damn dragon and it's in the treehouse and her shriek has woken it up so it's shrieking loudly as it scrambles off Charlie and runs around the room in a blind panic.

Charlie, meanwhile, has backed herself into a corner as she watches the creature run around. When the creature spots Charlie again, it calms down and sits, blinking at her and simply waiting.

[ Part Two - Messages to Duke and Helen. ]

Charlie's now out of the treehouse with the unnamed Dragon sitting comfortably in her backpack. Has she settled into the idea of owning a dragon? Probably not. Not just yet. But she knows full well she's stuck with the creature because she asked for it in a dream. Really, it's not the weirdest thing that's happened to her here? Just the most startling.

She wanders town, occasionally looking over her shoulder and smiling at the dragon who takes every opportunity to nuzzle against Charlie's cheek and as Charlie walks, she sends a few messages.

The first one is to Duke Crocker. This is her boss and one of her friends. He has to know about the dragon.

So, hey. Quick question; How do you feel about having a mascot? Something about the size of a small cat, greenish, prone to belching small balls of fire. I think we could make it work.

That's done.

Later on, she'll be making her way to Sanctuary, sending a message to Helen Magnus.

I had a dream I asked for a dragon and now I have one that's probably a baby and might need to stick with me for a while. Hoping that's okay and would you like to at least meet it...or her? I think it's a her? She's friendly.

[ Part 3: Wandering town and looking at every new damn thing. ]

Later on after everything is said and done, Charlie can be found wandering the city with her unnamed dragon. She had intended to go to the lake and sit. Maybe work out a name for the creature, but the city changed drastically overnight and wants to see everything.

There's Disney, for starters. Fucking Disney, attached to Elysifun. There are several new buildings that she wants to investigate but probably won't just yet. There's a tattoo parlor that she can't help but peek into through the window but no one seems to be in there just yet.

"Holy crap," she finally says to herself, looking down at her dragon. The nameless creature is sitting down, looking up at Charlie and waiting. And looking tired. Or maybe it's just a feeling Charlie gets because a moment later, she crouches and picks the dragon up, cradling her carefully as she continues on her journey through the newly redesigned City.
