[ She didn't see him. She's just stopped actively looking, if that makes any sense. He's become another face in the house, for the most part. She trusts him to a degree, but he also makes her nervous.

And right now she's a bit distracted by what had happened. When she does notice him, the expression on her face is concern. ]

You really should be lying down. For Stiles' sake and for your own. That must have been one hell of a bite.

[ She knows full well he's just gonna continue to pester her until she tells, but she hesitates and sighs, using telekinesis to finish making the cats food and holding her arm close for a moment. ]

I don't know. I...ran into Roman Godfrey. Something was wrong. He was elsewhere [ Here, she makes a vague gesture at the side of her head indicating the kind of elsewhere he was. ]

I tried to get him out of it, he grabbed my arm just when I thought he was okay. It's not important.

[He isn't certain how to answer, since he doesn't want any trouble for Roman. At the moment.]

You should stay away from him until we know what's happened to him.

[ Charlie doesn't want trouble for him, either. At all. ]

Does he have anything to do with your current state? No lying, remember. I asked for you to be honest and you said you would.

[ She doesn't believe him but instead of displaying that emotion, she keeps it in check and keeps her expression neutral. Utensils are washed single handed, Noira's food is picked up and she quietly leaves the room. She settles on the floor just outside of her room and Noira bounces out followed closely by Cyndaquil. ]

"We heal faster. From wounds. It wouldn't be from that." It's probably from not feeding, he thinks. But he's never had a reaction like this before, not in a thousand years.

[ Letting Noira sniff the bandages on her arm and listening to Cyndaquil quite possibly berate her for getting hurt, she turns to really look at Thomas. He really doesn't look all that good, and everything hurts because of it. ]

So what is it? Do you have any clue?

[ She'll take his word for it and simply nod once before motioning him over. ]

Sit down, Thomas. Is there anything I can do for you?

[He sits down, leaning his head against the wall.]

No. What was the point of giving you that dagger if you won't use it?

[ The look she's giving him right now. ] You're not implying I should use it on Stiles, are you? Or are you talking about Roman?

Why would I imply you use it on Stiles?

Because I can never tell with you what you mean.

[ And she has a bad habit of assuming the worst of people. ]

I wouldn't have used it on Roman, anyway. I don't think he knew what was going on at all.

[ Thomas, Noira hopes you don't mind her inching her way over and trying to curl up against your leg, because that's what she's doing. She's usually not a fan, only doing this very rarely. ]

Think it's another weird pollen thing? Wasn't that what happened when everyone was so grossly happy?

[He eyes Noira, warily, but doesn't move. His dog keeps peering from the doorway of Stiles' room.]

No. I don't think that's what's wrong with him.

[ Now Noira's eyeing the dog, tail twitching for a second before she settles and decides cleaning her paws is much more important. ]

Any ideas there?
