Jun. 17th, 2015 03:01 pmCharlie and Scott hadn't quite decided to define whatever thing this was between them, but a date sounded like the right idea. It seemed like the most natural thing in the world to be at the park in New Dodge with a basket of food and a blanket, both of them stretched out in it and talking about what whatever. Anything but what was going on between them. Maybe they didn't need to define it. Maybe they just needed to ease into whatever this was.
That sounded fine by her.
Charlie'd helped put the basket together, putting in things like sliced apples and cheeses and bread. Crackers, a few bottles of water and a couple ginger ales. It wasn't the heaviest meal, more a snack, really. But with Charlie's stomach troubles as of late, she wasn't really looking for anything big.
She even made sure to grab some of the left over fried chicken she'd made for Erica the night before, just for Scott since Charlie wasn't a fan of most meat products.
She's happy where she is, one arm casually draped around Scott's waist, listening to him talk about Beacon Hills and some of the happier moments from home.
"It's really starting to sound like if you're awake, something insane is happening to you and your friends back home," Charlie finally says, grinning with amusement.
