[Charlie cringed a little at the burn, a flash of guilt on her face. She'll take care of it when they get back to the yurt. For now, she stands and helps Stiles to his feet if he needs it.

Once he's on his feet, it's very likely she'll be wrapping her arms around his waist and resting her forehead on his shoulder for a moment. He's back. They both are. Not knowing if he was going to come back was a terrible feeling and Charlie was relieved. She needed a minute.]

[She sighs, closing her eyes and willing her tears back for a moment. When she looks at him, her eyes may have that shine to them, but for now her face is tear free. She shakes her head a bit, her hands framing his face for a moment.]

You have nothing to be sorry for. Okay? Not a thing.

I really don't know if you're right about that.

[She takes his hand and looks at the burn, sighing a bit dejectedly and closing her eyes for a moment.]

I really am sorry about that. I forgot how to control my ability and everything was frightening.

Let's go home. I'll get that taken care of, and then we can hide in my room from everyone but Frances.

[She kisses him briefly, smiling a bit at him. It's not exactly her biggest smile, but it's all for him. The week has been hell on both of them, she'd imagine.]

Do you think Frances can get us out of school for a couple day?. I don't feel like going.

I'm pretty sure Snape'd have us in school, even if really weird shit were happening. He doesn't seem the type to let it get to him.

[Time to walk, Stiles. Charlie's arm eases around his waist and she starts heading out the merchant dome.]

Seriously. My room. We need to...I don't know, steal all the blankets in the place and build a blanket fort. I haven't done one in years and it sounds so good right now.

[Charlie just smiles and continues walking, still holding onto Stiles.

When they get home, everywhere but Frances' room is ransacked (sort of) for all blankets and pillows and it takes some time getting the fort actually set up. Once it's done, Charlie ducks into the bathroom to change into pajamas (A tank top and long sleeping pants), removing the hairband from her hair and dropping it onto the bureau in her room.

She also stopped long enough to get a few sodas and write Frances a note, asking about time off for the next day or so.]

[He's spent time, beyond helping with the fort, counting fingers and seeing how much adderall and lichen he has left. It's been a little...frantic. ]

[Charlie eases her way into the fort, stretching out next to Stiles and quietly holding her hand out. Count'em if you need'em, Stiles.]

[Charlie keeps her voice even.] Listen, we've both just been through hell. Okay? Whatever you have to do to get yourself feeling better, go for it.

[Speaking of things that'll help people feel better. Charlie sits up again and ducks out of the room, this time poking around her own room for her first aid kit. She settles in again, legs crossed.]

Let me see your hand so it doesn't get infected.

[This isn't even for her benefit.]

[Charlie's careful with what she puts on it, silently thanking Stiles for allowing her to do this. It's just some pain relief plus antibiotic gel and a carefully placed bandage to keep that in place. He still has access to all his fingers.]

Mack contacted me yesterday. He was looking for you.

He's very worried about you. I didn't tell him anything, I didn't even know if I should. I figured, that's yours to talk about. Not mine. But...maybe you should tell him?
